Re: Grade and track height
Hello Arno, You control the gradient as it's part of the parameters you enter when creating a grade to a track. For full control of the grade over the entire range of the track section you can also use the Grade a Track Section for a contiguous section of tracks. The manual goes into much more detai...

Re: Baseboard size
can the shape have a "hole" in it? No, but you can use multiple baseboards to model this (plain rectangles on each side, a U plus a single rectangle shaped 'access' baseboard, two L shapes, ..) There are multiple user submitted layouts in the Community Layouts browser demonstrating this. ...

Re: Minitrix curved turnouts issue
Unfortunately the Minitrix track system isn't perfectly designed by the manufacturer when it comes to the curved turnouts. We are planning to add features in upcoming updates to help with small gaps or slightly misaligned tracks in the app that usually can't be noticed when building the real layout ...

Re: How do I align different chunks
Hi Friso,
might be easiest if you could just post an image (a screenshot of the figure, e.g. via Shift, Command, and 4) of the configuration?
Cheers,

Re: inverting won't work
so the term invert doesn't actually mean invert. it just unselects what is selected. Not quite - it inverts the selection as described above by selecting and unselecting elements. To simply unselect elements the Select > Deselect menu command can be used. so is there any way i can flip the track 18...

Re: Track Gradients
I am seeing designs with gradients up to 30% - am I missing somthing Hi Nick - you can configure how grades are displayed to you by the app as there are strong regional preferences. You can choose between percent, per mille, and ratio in the app's preferences: Per Mille : units of height change per...

Re: Curving flex track
Hi Scott - The 36" Super-Flex Track (Atlas H0 Code 100 article number 168) has a length of 36" so at the default 45º arc angle - that is applied when first bending a flex track to a parametric curve - the maximum radius is 45.8" before exceeding the track length. The app autocorrects...

Re: Flex track costing
Is there anyway of adding in the cost per metre and have the program calculate the overall cost based on the combined length used? You can enter the price for the flex track article in the Part List and have the app calculate the total. Adding up the combined track length for a specific flex track ...

Re: Layers and baseboards, and adding track to layout
Hi Tim, apologies for a newbie asking 2 daft laddie questions/issues. I'm trying to begin my first layout design using this software. No worries! Does a baseboard "behave" the same way as a layer in this software? Is it necessary to add a baseboard to the draft, or can you just work with a...
