Importing Trackplans from Other Programs

Post by rcacciato »

Is there any way to import a track plan made with another program? There is a track plan for the Granite Gorge & Northern Atlas layout that was made using AnyRail (www.anyrail.com, which I was not aware of) and I'd like to import it into RailModeller. Here's the link to the forum thread on this which includes the track plan to download:

Thanks in advance.

Unfortunately, direct import of layouts created by other track planning apps is not possible due to the lack of public file format compatibility. However, you can work around this limitation by exporting an image of the layout from the other app and then importing it into RailModeller Pro. This image can serve as a starting point for your planning process.

Thanks,
Jan
