Re: Adding Labels to Shapes

Hello -

There's two ways:

Either add a new Text shape with the desired text, or

enter a 'Comment' for the shape currently selected and select the 'All' option for Element Labels in the Document tab of the inspector sidebar to the right.

Re: Help! i need bigger radius curves -Peco code 100

Hello John, Have you tried adding a flex track and specifying the radius by using the Bend to Curve command in the contextual menu for the track or using the flex track inspector in the sidebar to the right when the flex track is selected? In both cases you could create one curved flex for each desi...

Re: Create a round baseboard

Hi Kenal, Once you've added the baseboard via File > Add Baseboard you can use the baseboard border tool from the toolbar (shortcut L ) to edit individual borders. Each border can be either straight or a circle segment. So you could e.g. insert a plain rectangle baseboard via the Baseboard Assistant...

Re: Copy and Paste

Hi Paul, You can select the desired tracks you'd like to use in the new layout and invoke the Copy function from the Edit menu to copy them. Then in the new layout you can use Paste from the Edit menu to insert just the selected tracks you've previously copied. In order to bend a flex track to a spe...

Roadmap

Hi there, Absolutely - you can import an image with the layout you'd like to use as a basis. This is the Tar Branch track plan that was shared to RailModeller's Community Layouts collection of model train layouts demonstrating a design based on an idea in the Model Railroader Magazine: http://modelr...

Re: Open ".LayOut" files

Hello Warwick, this message can occur when SketchUp and RailModeller Pro are both installed on the same Mac as they both claim the .layout extension. What usually helps is deleting RailModeller Pro and redownloading it from the Mac App Store (as you've purchased the app already you can of course dow...
