Re: Cannot move track or other objects with the mouse
..first thing you could always check: If you've configured RailModeller Pro on your Mac to use the Fixed mode for the canvas (see The Drawing Canvas section in the app's User Guide) it has to reject any content exceeding the canvas size you've specified for the particular layout in the Document sett...

Re: Drawing a Hexagon
Hi Rick, Afraid we don't provide that much control over creation of shapes; I've just tried to do the same in the almighty Affinity Designer - but even there I don't seem to have the option to control the length of each side..? If there's a way to achieve the latter I can send you a layout with the ...

Re: Flex track costing
It’s a bit of a pain but I recently wanted to check my flexi track inventory against my latest laid track plan. I duplicated my track diagram, changed its title and save the result. The next step was to delete all none flex track sections. I was then able to view; in the righthand panel; the leng...

Re: Export the layout in 1 to 1 and place the image layer among the others
Hello, At a zoom factor of 100% each pixel in the exported image is equivalent to 1mm in layout scale, i.e. for a 1x1m layout exported at 100% the created image will be 1000x1000 pixels in size. An imported image can be edited using the image tools, e.g. to position or resize it. When the image laye...

Kerry,
all tracks are to scale.
You can verify yourself quickly e.g. using the Tape Measure tool.
Hope this helps,

Re: How to measure a Paralel Track that already exists?
You can use the Measure tool available when editing a layer containing tracks, accessories or shapes: The Measure tool provides a tape measure for measuring distances in the layout. It also snaps to joints of tracks or baseboard corner points and can be restricted to a multiple of a 45-degree angle ...

Re: Custom Baseboard Question
Hello Maredudd, Great it worked! Quickest way would possibly to use an L shape and edit the template in the Baseboard assistant to get it close to the final T shape, then add the two other points by editing the baseboard using the Point edit tool (double-click baseboard) and fine-tweak point coordin...
