Custom Baseboard Question

Hi Folks!

I want a T-Shaped baseboard for a layout I'm working on but can't figure out how to modify the Custom prototype into a T-Shape.

Is that possible? Or will I need to conjoin two baseboards to create the t-shape I want?

Thanks for any help!

M

Ok, I tinkered some more and worked out how to produce a T-Shaped baseboard. I'm not real accurate when dworking a mouse but I was able to get the baseboard mod close and then used the position info on the Element Sidebar.

Hello Maredudd,

Great it worked! Quickest way would possibly to use an L shape and edit the template in the Baseboard assistant to get it close to the final T shape, then add the two other points by editing the baseboard using the Point edit tool (double-click baseboard) and fine-tweak point coordinates using the Point Editor that's available when selecting any baseboard, poly or line shape.

Cheers,
Jan

Thanks Jan for the response!

What you described is pretty much what I did by shear tapping on the baseboard!!!

I have a related question . . .

It doesn't look like there is a "Flip" function for baseboards. I've been playing with baseboards and, as I noted in a response above, I'm not very precise when it comes to using a mouse for moving corners. If there was a flip function as part of the baseboard tools, that would make it easier to create the odd shapes I'm working with.

Nevermind. There is a flip function in the baseboard tools . . .

There is a flip/ mirror symbol when using baseboard layout tool. Keep looking and you will see it
