I am unable to complete two ovals using two pairs of express points. One crossover set using R8077 and another pair using R8078 placed on opposite sides of the ovals. The iner oval is too small to allow the tracks to be connected.
Using the same approach but with stadard points R8072 (one cross over pair) and R8073 as the other pair the two oval tracks can be connected.
In summary express points when connected as a cross over pair have insufficient separation of the parallel tracks.
I would be grateful for comments in this apparent issue.

Hornby Express Points
Re: Hornby Express Points
I should have mentioned that I can complete the ovals using real track but it is the software that appears to give me problems.

Re: Hornby Express Points
Hi Barry,
sorry for the delay - in the meantime Hornby has gotten back to us and confirmed that Express points do give the same distance between tracks as standard points. We've updated the Hornby 00 library accordingly for the upcoming update!
Cheers,
Jan
