The HO T-Trak standard calls for 60 mm track spacing.
From what I can tell, there is no way to set/enforce track spacing in RailModeler Pro -- from what I can tell.
N T-Trak modelers can use a piece of Kato N-Trak doube track to align their track at the end of the modules -- the double track has 33 mm spacing, which is the N T-Trak standard.
I thought I could use some of the same trick -- using a Kato #6 turnout and a couple of pieces of other track (S-283, S-193, and S-290), I can create the two tracks that are 60 mm apart. I can use that to align the track at the end of a module -- and I am good to go.
What I would like to do is take that turnout and associated pieces of track -- group them together as an element, and then save that element somewhere so I can use it in multiple layouts.
Is there some way to save a track element to something like a private library so it can be used in multiple layouts?
Is there a better way to set track spacing in RailModeller Pro?

Hello Mike,
Have you seen the assistants, specifically the Parallel Track assistant yet?
There's also much more info in the user guide, plus we offer various tutorials:

I have not -- and that seems to to be exactly what I want. I will have to figure out how to use it.RailModeller Support wrote: ↑03 Dec 2025, 11:39 Hello Mike,

Re: Trying to set 60 mm track spacing -- HO T-Trak Standard
I may be using the parallel assistant incorrectly -- that is extremely likely.
But when I have a curved pieced of track on the layout -- say a Kato Unitrack 2-220 with a radius of 610 mm -- and then select a piece of curved track with a smaller radius -- say a Kato Unitrack 2-210 with a radius of 550 mm -- to be added as parallel, the new track gets added on the outside if the current track.
What I am trying to do is build an HO T-Trak corner module -- 90°of a 610 mm curve -- and 90° of a 550 mm curve inside of that -- two concentric ¼ circles.
Is there a way to specify on which side of the existing track I want the new track to be added?
