I have been working with one layer only, separate file, for the sole purpose of developing a switch yard that works with a three layer lay out that I have been developing. There is an empty location in the three layer, to place it.
How do I export/import the switch yard, to marry it to the three layer file.
Thank you
I'm a relative newbie and don't want to manually rebuild a combination of the two.
also: through my search of other subjects, I am steered to The User Control Panel and radio something button. When I use "User Control Panel" in all of the RailModeller Pro search options I get something like, that term does not exist. I was trying to figure out what a "signature" was, and would I want to use one.
Thanks again

Re: working with layers
Hi there,
You can just copy and paste the tracks from one layout to the other;
either individual tracks (drag and drop between the two layouts also works just fine) or alternatively the entire layer:
An entire layer including all its elements can also be copied using the contextual menu in the layer list. The copy can then be inserted into the same or a different layout.
(User Guide, "Layers" section)
Hope this helps,
Jan
