Curved Baseboards

There seems to be little or no documentation on creating or working with curved sections on baseboards. All it says in the help file is the side bar tools can be used for: "The radius and arc angle for circular border segments."

However, when a segment is changed to curved, the tools that appear in the sidebar are: Border Radius, Circular Angle, and Entry Angle. No explanation of how to use these properly. At first, all I am trying to do is change this:



to this:



When I change the segment to curved, this is the initial result:



I know eventually it needs to be changed to "Inward", but first I tried to get the right general curve. Seems it needs to be a larger radius, but less of the full circle. I tried changing the radius first to 90". The result:



That seems to be the right direction, so next I change the "Circular Angle" from 180 to 20. I get this:



That's not good - seems to have altered the radius again. I reset the radius by changing 90" to 89". and also change circular angle to 10:

Finally, no idea what I am doing now, I change the "Entry Angle" to 10:



Does ANYONE know how to make this work? Is there documentation anywhere? I'd also like to do this eventually, but won't even try it until this is sorted out:

Hallo MattM und Jan,

dieses Problem habe ich auch festgestellt. Nach meinem Verständnis könnte es daran liegen, dass beim Ändern einer Kante/Linie IMMER entweder die davor liegende, oder die dahinter liegende Kante/Linie bewegt wird. Die Software geht danach bei jeder weiteren Änderung mit neuen Voraussetzungen ans Werk, was im Chaos endet.
Bitte deshalb die Möglichkeit einbauen, dass sich KEINE anschliessenden Kanten verschieben.
Gut wäre auch, wenn man erst sämtliche Werte eingeben, und erst am Schluss das Ausführen der Änderung auslösen kann.

Curved baseboard borders can now (soon) be edited by just dragging the border with the mouse:

The latest update to version 6.4.23 is now available featuring improved baseboard functionality:

• The Baseboard Assistant features a new triangle template and has improved usability and visuals
• Arc Baseboard Borders have been reworked for easy border radius editing through dragging and a simplified inspector
• The Baseboard Border inspector has been simplified, now labeling both border points in the layout for easy reference
