Hello!
I've just picked up Express to see if it's possible to do something before I commit to Pro, but it may be that I can't do this in Express. Either way, I'm looking to import an image from Google Maps to then overlay track on, so I can essentially model a real location by directly placing track on a scaled image. Is that possible, and are there tools to make sure images are scaled correctly?

You can use background images in our Pro edition. We provide the differences for your convenience at

The dimensions of an image can be entered in 'real world' dimensions in the Image Inspector when the image layer is selected to make sure they match expectations in 1:1 scale, e.g. when building:
