Hi,
I'm planning my layout. It will be multiple levels. The lower two levers should be hidden railway stations. I finished one level now and I'm not really happy with the look.
There are a few constraints: Peco Streamline 100 must be used. They only have flex tracks. This is difficult to "draw" in RailModeller Pro. I had some challenges combining the turnouts to get an optimal distance between tracks. I used curves to make some tracks longer for longer trains.
I'd appreciate any tips for optimizations.

Re: Hidden Railway Station
Brief counter question: what do you mean by optimum distance between tracks? Choose a distance to make the tracks as long as possible, make them equidistant etc.?

Re: Hidden Railway Station
I was aligning turnouts and realized that this results into too narrow tracks. Thus, I need to place small flex tracks between them to get the proper distance. I think a "guide line" feature would help. Placing turnouts and then using the "connect with flex track" feature sometimes results into non straight layouts.
FWIW, I came up with an alternative which has a better layout IMHO. The helix is now on the left side and allows more freedom for tracks.

Re: Hidden Railway Station
I would first make a couple of straight tracks with the proper distance (length and manufacturer of tracks does not matter as they are not used in the final layout anyway). Then group them. Now, you can rotate or move the group where ever you like and use them as a reference for your layout.
Once you have made connections to / alignments of other tracks in the direction of these dummy tracks, remove the group and design proper tracks.
