Disconnected tracks that should be connected

Post by HardyW »

I cannot reproduce this stuff practically as I do not have the corresponding tracks at hand. I have the following constellation with Roco Line H0: A 42489 is connected with 42412 and 42448 as well as with 2x42430 und 42441 (so one exit of 42448 is connected with 42441). According to RailModeller this connection is correct. Roco (https://www.roco.cc/uploads/service/dow ... ine_de.pdf Examplel 5) states that between 42448 and 42441 a distance piece of D04 is required. Who is right?

Hardy

PS: Sometimes it would be useful if the user can overwrite RailModeller's track connection detection and define the tracks as connected. I have some other experiences where RailModeller detects an open track but you cannot put anything between the disjoints because the distance is too small. Just above the set limit for valid connections.
