Hi there, I just purchase the software today and I'm trying to design a layout using bachmann E-Z track HO, I can't seem to find any turnouts on the tracks...am I doing something wrong?

Hi there -

We don't have specs for the turnouts yet as the vendor cannot provide that information at the moment.

All we've received are some general pictures, however without the actual measurements (angles, arcs, offsets, etc) there's not much I can do at the moment. In the future we might be able to extend our internal toolset for track systems that don't make enough information available to reverse engineer information from pictures but at the moment priorities are improving and extending the app itself.

thanks,
Jan

Any updates on this topic? Seem to be missing a lot of parts.

I just bought RM Pro and was disappointed at the lack of support for Bachmann E-Z track, particularly the turnouts.

For the short term, I found that you can fake a standard turnout by creating a symbol consisting of a 9" straight (44511) and an 18" curve offset 1.5" to the right of the straight track.

By the way, another issue I noticed with the Bachmann EZ-track library is that the 22" curves (44503) should be 22.5 degrees, not 30 degrees.

Has there been any news on when the tourouts will be added. I purchased the Pro version and then asked for a refund after I found out there was not Bachman E-Z track turnouts.

You can download a preview of the library here (import via File > Track Libraries > Import):
