Manage Stock File

Post by avdgeijn »

Does anybody know where the 'Manage Stock' data is stored?

I'm using two system while working on tracks, laptop next to my track while working on the track, Mac with large screen to do the bigger layout. Like to share the 'manage stock' between the two systems, so when I make changes on my laptop, they are also visible on the Mac.

....would be nice to have a system setting that can be used to assign where files are stored.

Andre

Hi Andre,

interesting idea - you could manually export the stock on one computer and import the generated .csv on the other machine.
Currently there's no built-in way to display the actual storage location (which is a hidden system folder buried on the file system).

Please feel free to open a new feature request if you'd like to see custom stock file locations added to the app!

Cheers,
Jan

Hi Jan,

OK, thanks, will create a feature request.

When I would know where it is on the system although hidden, I could create a link from there to a netwerk drive that I could share between the two systems. So I'm still very curious where the data is stored. :)

OK, found the file Stock.xml, as well as Pricelist.xml

But it seems like that it is at a location where Links can't be created. So will wait for a solution where those kind of files can be 'shared', and use the CVS import and export for the time being.

Andre
