Customizing appearance of generic bumper/buffer stop

Hi Jan, it's nice to have a bumper/buffer option, but how is the position of it on the track determined? By experimentation, it seems to be located about 25% of the track section length from the end, which means the actual distance from the end depends on which track it is attached to. How about making it a fixed proportion of the track width instead, which would make it scale/gauge independent?

Hi Sheldon,

the upcoming version 6.3 just entered the public beta phase today and includes an inspector for generic bumpers where the type of bumper (e.g. classic bracket or Hayes) as well as the position inside the track can be adjusted!

Hope this helps,
Jan

Can't wait to try out the 6.3 beta version! How do I access it? I've just registered as a beta user.
