Finding disconnected track

Post by Nom »

Apparently, since 5.1.1 there has been a feature to find disconnected track.
  • Using the LGB track set, I create an oval with a standard straight on one side and a double straight on the other side (in the space that would fit a standard side - the curve)
  • I choose "clean up layout"
  • Clean up layout reports "Nothing to clean up"
How do I easily find track that is not properly connected on both ends? Or that overlaps other tracks without an elevation change?

Have you tried the Highlight Unconnected Joints option in the Display Settings area of the side bar?
We're also working on an option to display the cause why tracks are not connected, i.e. heights don't match or the distance is too large.

More details are also in the Display Settings section in the manual.

Hope this helps,
Jan
