JMRI Export

Post by Steffen1601 »

I have created a new layout 48 inches by 96 inches and exported it to JMRI, but the layout comes in to JMRI very tiny and unusable. See attached screenshots of the layout and the JMRI result. What am I doing wrong?

JMRI is unit agnostic so at this point we're using a fixed zoom factor (cm or inch as 1 base unit) to 'shrink' the RailModeller Pro layout - mainly to work around a bug in JMRI with large layout sizes.

You can always change the settings in the generated XML in JMRI.
We're also adding more export options - including adjustable zoom - for JMRI in the upcoming update!

As far as the current zoom factor in the PanelPro app is concerned - you can just change it in the app:

Quick update: Starting with RailModeller Pro 6.3.0 the zoom factor when exporting layouts to the unit agnostic PanelPro app can now be controlled in the extended JMRI Export function!
