Newbie questions Lionel Accessories and Labels

I am new to this software and am well along with my first layout. Looks like there isn't a library of Lionel Post War accessories to drop in so I am creating shapes and dropping them in where accessories will go. Can't find any way to label them to add a number or name to the shape. Am I missing something? Suggestions welcome.

Hello Doug,

when your Element Labels setting in the Document tab of the sidebar to the right is set to "All" the Comment for shapes will be displayed as its label:
