How can I add text to list areas of my layout?

I have started using and getting used to using Railmodeller Pro. Is there a way I can add text as a element? I want to list out areas of my layout like industries and locations and parts of the space I will list like walls, window and door locations.

Think about seeing a layout track plan in model railroader that as various things listed like locations and areas of interest on a layout. I also listed measurements in inches so I also want to list what they are in feet in next to them.

You can add text shapes using the shapes popup!
Also user-defined elements like rectangles or shapes can have a custom name assigned in the sidebar to the right.

Hope this helps,
Jan

I see thanks, but what about changing the font type and editing the size of text?

You can use the standard macOS Font Panel (Command T) to change font properties of the current selection!

The font size for element names (product numbers) can be controlled in the sidebar to the right under the Document tab.
