Hi there!
I´ve got 2 plans, one we can call "Final" - and the other "Test".
The Test-plan is made so I can test out different layers without messing up the Final ... but once I´ve created a good looking Test-layer I´d love to copy that spesific layer over to the Final. How?

Hi JackX,

Right clicking on a layer in the Layer List opens the contextual menu with further actions for the specific layer.
The Copy Layer function will place a copy of the entire layer on the clipboard.


Switching to the other layout and invoking Edit > Paste will insert a copy of the layer into the new layout.

I wanted to copy the baseboard I´ve created, and paste it on another layout (making second level) - but your approach doesn´t work (?)

I'd like to bump JackX's last question; I have the same one. I'd like to be able to copy one of my baseboards in one file to another file. I have a rather large layout with multiple baseboards, and I'd like to be able to print just one with the tracks that are on it. I'd either like to be able to single out that baseboard and tracks for printing using my master file, or just copy that baseboard and tracks to another file to print from there. Any recommendations?

The recent update to version 6.3.8 enhances the Clipboard support for baseboards:
Any selected baseboard can be copied/pasted to either the same baseboard layer or any other layout.
