Hello all,
I am trying to design an end to end layout for a friend, however it is a funny shape. When creating the board, (I am using the rectangular shape tool) is there a way of adjusting the width and size of the shape without guessing by adjusting the shapes, also is there a way of preventing the main grid from automatically changing shape if you add a track piece and it goes over the original adjusted elements?
Also, how do I change the font coluor of text? I can't seem to be able to work out how to change the text from white to black?
Thanks in advance.

Re: Creating different shaped baseboards
Hi there -
you can see the current dimensions of the rectangle while resizing it in the sidebar to the right.
You can also directly enter the desired dimensions into the fields of the rectangle properties editor.
The text colour can be changed using the Fill Color field in the side bar or the color control in the Font Panel.
If you're currently editing the text contents the color won't currently change, though.
Hope this helps,
Jan
