Atlas Code-55 and Parallel Tracks

Hi there,

I've switched from AnyRail to RailModeller. In AnyRail, and according to Atlas, I should be able to use a 2030 (30.609" radius curve) with a 2050/2051 (#5 turnout) or a 2031 (71" curve) with a 2052/2053 (#7) to make a parallel track. However, in RailModeller this does not work as adding a 2030 to a 2050 does not reverse the turnout to allow say a flex track (2000) to be placed to provide parallel tracks at a 1¼" spacing. The addition of the 2030 is then not straight.

How have other people built parallel tracks cleanly with RailModeller?

Thanks for the info -
track specs came directly from Atlas (same used in their SW). I'll see what the matter with these tracks.

I did some follow up testing on this with Beta4 and Anyrail and even to be sure I went out and bought some #2030 track and RailModeller is definitely incorrect in the dimensions. Using a 2030 against a 2050 allows parallel tracks as per the images below.
