Re: working with centerlines

Hi Sean, it's on our to-do list and there's an existing feature request: https://railmodeller.uservoice.com/forums/249335-railmodeller-feature-requests/suggestions/7458511-the-ability-to-align-shapes-drawn-with-the-shape-t There hasn't been much demand for this feature, though, so it's not been a pr...

Only 64-bit versions!

Hello Sheldon,

RailModeller Pro and RailModeller Express are (and always have been) 64-bit versions - so you're all set!
You might be referring to our old app, RailModeller Classic (in development until 2014)?

Cheers,
Jan

Re: Bug: Setting a grade with Scalextric Track

Hi David, . I just want to make one track rise above the other than fall back down on the other side Slopes/grades for (multi-lane) slot car tracks are currently not supported. I've replicated your layout and the 'Multiple track sections' message in this context is misleading, I'll look into it! To ...

Re: Borders for slot car Policar track in the pipeline?

Hello Michal,

We don't currently support slot car borders as these would need to 'snap' sideways to tracks.
As this is a specialty of slot car tracks (who represent a very small percentage of our user base) snapping is for now only possible between two tracks.

Hope this helps,
Jan

No grades for slot car tracks

Hello David, At this point grades can be adjusted for plain tracks consisting of a single track (i.e. most model trains) but not for complex track elements like switches, crossings or slot car tracks that are assembled of multiple individual tracks, e.g. multiple lanes. The second message could indi...

Re: How can I add text to list areas of my layout?

You can use the standard macOS Font Panel (Command T) to change font properties of the current selection!

The font size for element names (product numbers) can be controlled in the sidebar to the right under the Document tab.

Re: How can I add text to list areas of my layout?

You can add text shapes using the shapes popup!
Also user-defined elements like rectangles or shapes can have a custom name assigned in the sidebar to the right.

Hope this helps,
Jan

Re: Easy way to find track that is not aligned?

Hello Walman,

Not sure what the question is - you might want to get in touch with our support (Help > Email Support) and attach the layout in question with a description of what you'd like to achieve so we can provide assistance!

Thanks,
Jan

Mirroring layouts - which will have to replace parts like turnouts with their respective mirror parts - is on our to-do list for a future update!

Re: Size limit of Baseboard

Hello flysail, 1) I am designing an outdoor layout in gauge 1. I plan to make it 15' x 60' based on the Cerro Azul track plan in 101 Track Plans. While the baseboard wizard has no problem with the 720" length it will not let me to set the width wider than 255". Why? I could create a basebo...

I agree with Guigui. Yes I see the tools but they aren’t functional for me when attempting to size a custom baseboard. I think that is Jan’s point. The basic tools seem to be there but they are not working. Could you detail what you are referring to by "not working"? There are no know...
