Re: Drawing Vehicular Roads
Hi Henry, Thanks for the detailed explanation and the feature request ! The line tool can actually ' stop ' the current shape by either hitting the ESC key or via double-click, but I realize that many options are somewhat hidden in the manual so we do have a to-do item for the next major update 6.0 ...

Re: Drawing Vehicular Roads
Hi there, We include several libraries for vendors offering roads for various scales e.g. Faller Car System or Faller Laser Street. The Line tool from the Shapes popup in the toolbar allows to draw lines with an arbitrary number of points. Can you illustrate how a line drawing tool would differ? The...

Re: Smart Insert Question
Hi Jim,
Have you inserted the track by confirming the preview with Apply?
If the assistant is closed (e.g. by clicking somewhere outside the assistant) without actually inserting a track the preview disappears and no changes are made to your layout.
Hope this makes sense,
Jan

Re: Multiple level layouts
You're correct - At this time baseboards and shapes are limited to level zero. There's a feature request to improve this and we're probably going to tackle this at some point when time allows (https://railmodeller.uservoice.com/forums/249335-railmodeller-feature-requests/suggestions/19786642-baseboa...

Re: Edit selection starts and end heights with Kato double track sections
Currently elements consisting of multiple tracks like turnouts, crossings or double track sections can be positioned at an arbitrary height but can have no grade. You can however select multiple tracks (plain or multi-track elements) and edit heights in one go. The app will automatically adjust the ...

Servus Manni!

Merci,
Jan

Re: Couple of thoughts - moving from AnyRail
Hello Trevor, Thanks for the feedback and sorry for the delay - we've just returned from our annual summer break. A minimum radius setting per layout (with appropriate warnings shown when the radius is exceeded) is planned for the future. You can already cut section and flex tracks using the saw too...

Re: Curve Flex to Consistent Radius
Hello Dean,
the 'Bend to Curved' function currently uses only two control points for the bezier shape representing the flex track. This results in less than optimal shapes in particular for larger arc angles. We've got an open to-do list item to fix this in an upcoming release!
Thanks,
Jan
