Re: Kato Unitrack N - Steigung bei Doppelten Gleis

Hallo Julian,

Aktuell können einfache Gleise in Steigungen liegen, alle anderen Gleistypen (Kreuzungen, Weichen, Doppelgleise, ..) können auf beliebige Höhen bewegt werden, dort jedoch 'flach'.

Merci,
Jan

Re: Plarail Tomy Elements

Hello bijomaru78,

even better: You can just download the Express edition!

It's completely free and contains the same track libraries.

Hallo Smarty1309,

einfach alle Gleise im Wendel auswählen und die neue Steigung über 'Start-/Endgleis anpassen' (in Element > Höhe anpassen) eingeben.

Re: converting a layout from one vendor to another?

Hello Severin,

Unfortunately, there is no automatic mapping for corresponding tracks of different vendors (or between different model scales of the same vendor).

Hope this helps,
Jan

Re: Grade and track height

Hello Arno, You control the gradient as it's part of the parameters you enter when creating a grade to a track. For full control of the grade over the entire range of the track section you can also use the Grade a Track Section for a contiguous section of tracks. The manual goes into much more detai...

Re: Baseboard size

can the shape have a "hole" in it? No, but you can use multiple baseboards to model this (plain rectangles on each side, a U plus a single rectangle shaped 'access' baseboard, two L shapes, ..) There are multiple user submitted layouts in the Community Layouts browser demonstrating this. ...

Hi there,

Great to hear you like our track planning app!

Re: Minitrix curved turnouts issue

Unfortunately the Minitrix track system isn't perfectly designed by the manufacturer when it comes to the curved turnouts. We are planning to add features in upcoming updates to help with small gaps or slightly misaligned tracks in the app that usually can't be noticed when building the real layout ...

Hi Friso,

might be easiest if you could just post an image (a screenshot of the figure, e.g. via Shift, Command, and 4) of the configuration?

Cheers,

Re: inverting won't work

so the term invert doesn't actually mean invert. it just unselects what is selected. Not quite - it inverts the selection as described above by selecting and unselecting elements. To simply unselect elements the Select > Deselect menu command can be used. so is there any way i can flip the track 18...

Re: Track Gradients

I am seeing designs with gradients up to 30% - am I missing somthing Hi Nick - you can configure how grades are displayed to you by the app as there are strong regional preferences. Re: inverting won't work

Hi Jason,

the Select > Invert menu command inverts the current selection, i.e.
  • Selected elements are deselected,
  • Unselected elements are selected (assuming the hosting layer is unlocked and visible)
Cheers,
Jan
