Re: Walthers track

I'm always keen adding additional track systems if I can get my hand on the specifications.

The Walthers/Shinohara Code 83 track system is not yet supported due to a lack of available information.

Cheers,
Jan

Re: Lock the worksheet

Hi, You'll probably want to use the drawing tools to e.g. outline the layout dimensions with rectangles, then place them into a dedicated layer and lock the layer so it doesn't interfere with further planning. A table top editor with dedicated support for specifying layout dimensions is coming soon!...

Re: 3D layout views

Currently a "top and side" view of the layout is available via the Layout control in the toolbar. The plan it to enhance the 3D planning capabilities with full terrain modeling, tunnels, bridges, 3D structures placed at arbitrary heights - this "enhanced three-dimensional viewing mode" is scheduled ...

Re: Building helix seems not working properly

It should just work, even with a single loop.

Did you confirm the value you've entered with the Return or Tab key?
Throughout the app values will be interpreted only after the input field has been left, e.g. by tabbing to the next field.

Hope this helps,
Jan

Re: Pro V 5.0.8

Hi Jim, version 5.0.8 adds Stock Management; An inventory of tracks can be maintained to display the number of tracks remaining in stock when working on a specific layout or to filter the Parts list to show only tracks that need to be purchased to build the layout. Stocks can be imported from a CSV ...

Re: working with centerlines

Hi Dave, a matrix in some shape or form allowing to specify if coordinates are to be interpreted as top/center/bottom and left/center/right is definitely on the schedule. Still figuring out what's the most convenient way to integrate it so it doesn't get in the way all the time! Edit: .. " matrix " ...

Hi Ken, Did you check out the initial tutorial? It should give a basic overview: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fBMKCaOCCJw To insert an element from the current library into the layout it can be dragged from the Library Catalog to the drawing canvas. Any dragged track element will snap automatical...

Re: Moving elements to front or back

The order in which elements are painted is controlled by The order of a layer in the Layer List: layers at the top of the list draw above layers at the bottom. The order of elements within a layer: Within a layer the "Bring to front" and "Send to Back" command can be used to control the back-to-fron...

Merci,
Jan
