Re: Peco n-Scale FineScale Alignment
Hi Jan, What you are saying doesn't seem to make sense to me? When I use the same turnouts on other layout software (ie: Anyrail) I don't have the same issue and it does not make sense that Peco would design the turnouts to require a small piece of flex in the middle to make them line up? I really w...

Peco n-Scale FineScale Alignment
I all, trying to build a yard using Peco n-Scale Finescale track in RailModeller and have found an interesting challenge. When I use SL-E391F and SL-E392F as below the tracks are correct for angle but there is a significant different is the space between the tracks in each direction. I tested with A...

Couple of thoughts - moving from AnyRail
Hi, I've been moving from Anyrail as I use a Mac and want a Mac native app and really like this app. A couple of small items that I'm not sure if you plan to support or not which I find really useful in regards Flex track: 1. When editing a flex track allow a key/mouse combo to ensure the re-size of...

Re: V5.0 Document Size
It's a cool idea in theory, but... Just want to agree with @fpm_michael. Having a set table size, (in irregular shapes) is the only way to go. I like that the overall canvas grows as you add items [I recently moved from AnyRail and one of the things that did annoy me was that when something went of...

Zooming
Small niggle, but any chance when we zoom in or out it can be from the centre of the screen not the top left corner (or thats what I assume is happening). If I have a piece of track directly in the middle of my screen and zoom, with each zoom in the piece will move down towards the right bottom corn...

Re: Atlas Code-55 and Parallel Tracks
I did some follow up testing on this with Beta4 and Anyrail and even to be sure I went out and bought some #2030 track and RailModeller is definitely incorrect in the dimensions. Using a 2030 against a 2050 allows parallel tracks as per the images below. Using RailModeller: Rail Modeller.jpg Using A...

Re: Curving flexitrack
Hi there - freely formed flex track will be available again in the next update. It's already the beta testing phase right now. Tested this today. Added a single piece of flex and could form it to a curve, then added another to it and could not adjust it when connected to the first piece of flex. Tr...

Atlas Code-55 and Parallel Tracks
Hi there, I've switched from AnyRail to RailModeller. In AnyRail, and according to Atlas, I should be able to use a 2030 (30.609" radius curve) with a 2050/2051 (#5 turnout) or a 2031 (71" curve) with a 2052/2053 (#7) to make a parallel track. However, in RailModeller this does not work as...
