Re: Borders for slot car Policar track in the pipeline?
Scalextric borders seem to be in there, though.

Re: Bug: Setting a grade with Scalextric Track
I can't make any sense of this whatsoever. :( In the second screenshot, they're all at the same level. I just want to make one track rise above the other than fall back down on the other side. I can't work out how to do it. Anyone got a step-by-step instruction with screenshots, for slot-car track? ...

Bug: Setting a grade with Scalextric Track
I use RailModeller to design Scalextric digital/sport slot car layouts. I want to design a bridge/flyover. I can set track pieces at ground level, and at (say) ground + 10 cm. But I can't create a grade/slope from one level to the other. If I select a single straight track piece, and pick the menu i...

Re: SCALEXTRIC | Big issue with C8295 Elevated Cross Over
This is a half-straight (C8207) and is on a diagonal. It's hard to make things match up exactly when you have an odd number of diagonal pieces, in general.
My conclusion is that the RailModeller version of this is probably right.- 20 Feb 2020, 22:51

Re: SCALEXTRIC | Big issue with C8295 Elevated Cross Over
Are you sure it's RailModeller that is wrong, though?
You have one diagonal half-straight, which is hard to balance out exactly. Also, a gap that small is usually closeable in practice due to the track's flexibility.

Re: SCALEXTRIC | Big issue with C8295 Elevated Cross Over
With R3 curves, the equivalent pattern is:
Personally, I prefer "transition curves", where you lead in gently and get tighter, before leading out gently again. (e.g. R3 then R2 then back to R3). I still need to work out the pattern for that though!

The developer got back to me, and I've supplied him with measurements now that mine has arrived. He seems willing to make the fix.

Re: SCALEXTRIC | Big issue with C8295 Elevated Cross Over
RM Pro = RailModeller Pro. RailModeller comes in two versions Express (which is free) and Pro (which costs ££). The free version has certain limits which are removed from the paid-for version. I've also sent a report on it via email now. There was a new release this weekend to 6.2.4 but it didn't ...
