I agree this would be a useful feature. At the moment one has to add sections of flextrack manually and bend them by eye to the generic one.

Hi Jan, it's nice to have a bumper/buffer option, but how is the position of it on the track determined? The problem seems to be the image resolution. If it's too high the memory used by RM makes refreshing slow. My scanned images were at 300 dpi, so I used a graphics editor to rescale it to 30 dpi and the response is far better - at the expense of having a coarser image.

Background Image slows screen updating
I use scanned track plans to help design my layouts, but adding and editing track elements is incredibly slow when the image layer is visible. Is this a known problem and is there a workaround?

Catalina compatible version?
Are there plans to produce a 64-bit version so that it can run on Catalina? RailModeller Pro is one of the few 32-bit apps I have left on my Mac, which are stopping me from upgrading to Catalina.
